Their story began in 2025 with a simple swipe on Hinge, proof that sometimes the smallest moments can change everything.

Jackie grew up in Alameda, later heading east to attend school in New York City, with chapters of her life also unfolding under the sunshine of Los Angeles. Anthony, a Bay Area native through and through, had no idea that someone who had spent time on both coasts would soon become the center of his world.

The odds of their first date actually happening were slim. Jackie wasn’t feeling well that day, the kind of day most people would reschedule. But Anthony wasn’t discouraged. Something told him he needed to meet her, and he wasn’t about to let a little “cold” get in the way.

So they met for dinner and from that very first evening, something just clicked. Looking back, there were so many reasons their paths might not have crossed. Different cities. Different timing. A sick day that almost turned into a rain check. But the world has a funny way of bringing the right people together at exactly the right moment.

What started as a chance meeting between two people from the San Francisco Bay Area turned into a love story neither of them could have planned and somehow, from that one almost missed night, they found the person they were always meant to come home to.

On Christmas Eve 2025, surrounded by their closest family and friends at Evvia, Anthony completely surprised Jackie with the proposal of her dreams. What she thought was simply a beautiful holiday evening quickly turned into the most unforgettable moment of their lives.

With everyone gathered around (and no one suspecting a thing!), Anthony got down on one knee and asked Jackie to spend forever with him.
